New Tab

The Linux keyboard shortcut Ctrl T (PC) or control T (Mac) will perform the New Tab action. The New Tab keyboard shortcut is only available in applications that support tabs. When available, New Tab is usually located in the File menu. This keyboard shortcut for New Tab is available in the Chrome OS / Chromium OS, Cinnamon, Gnome, KDE, LXDE, MATE, Unity (Ubuntu) and Xfce. The same keyboard shortcut may also be available with other desktop environments that can be run on Linux.
