The Linux keyboard shortcuts Shift F3 and Alt P (PC) or shift F3 and option P (Mac) will perform the Find Previous action. Shift F3 for Find Previous is available in KDE and LXDE. You may have to swap fn key functionality to use Shift F3 with a Mac. Alt P / option P for Find Previous is only available with certain apps in KDE. Find Previous is a global Linux keyboard shortcut that is usually located in the Edit menu or the Search menu. The same keyboard shortcuts may also be available with other desktop environments that can be run on Linux.
