    The Windows keyboard shortcuts Ctrl V and Shift Insert will perform the Paste action. Paste is a global keyboard shortcut that is usually located in the Edit menu. This keyboard shortcut for Paste is available in Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10. The same keyboard shortcut may also be available with other versions of Windows.

    Example: Press Ctrl V (or Shift Insert) to paste the selected item.
