The BSD keyboard shortcuts Shift F3 and Alt P (PC) or shift F3 and option P (Mac) will perform the Find Previous action. You may have to swap fn key functionality to use Shift F3 with a Mac. Find Previous is a global BSD keyboard shortcut that is usually located in the Edit menu. Alt P / option P for Find Previous is only available in certain KDE apps. These keyboard shortcuts for Find Previous are available in the KDE desktop environment and may also be available with other desktop environments that can be run on BSD.
